Morality

This may sound like I’m endorsing a particular person but no… Maybe I am doing that a bit but let me just stick with my subject… Morality.

Last Sunday, I was watching TV after I went to the grocery to buy dinner and I was fortunate enough to catch Kris Aquino talking about her latest issue, and it got me thinking… Would I rather go for the person who tries to hide everything he thinks that might ruin his political career or go with the person who walks and talks like an average person?

I’m not saying that I believe Kris… or maybe I do… but my point is, what happened to her was a domestic issue and it has nothing to do with politics. So nobody has the right to drag this issue to their advantage. That’s morality… the morals of a person whether in front of the camera or behind it… that’s what I feel us Filipinos should consider when voting for our leaders. Nobody is perfect; I do not come from a political family but we do not wash dirty laundry in public. We rather talk about it as a family first then decide as a family, as a family we do not talk about the neighbors skeletons… Or maybe we do… hehehehe.

So going back to my point, a person’s moral is something to be proud of. If he thinks that he is right fight for it… if he thinks he was wrong admit it… as simple as that. Don’t go to the extent of dragging others to the story stick with the fact.

With a scandal or not… whether Kris made a scene or the Girl’s family misunderstood her is way out of politics. Kris is not the one running for president, and if ever she is, what’s wrong with talking to the person whom she thinks is ruining her marriage? I don’t think anything is wrong with that… what’s wrong if she slaps the bitch without even confirming if she’s the other woman… now that’s another story.

Now for everybody, let’s stick with the facts. Noynoy is the one running for president… if he cheated with his girlfriend or made accusations base on hearsay… that’s the time we need to question ourselves… Do we need him in Malacanang?
