Who would I vote for?

I’m 29 last September, and yes I just registered last month. Now the topic is who would I vote for and not why did I register late… but somehow I will touch base on these topics briefly.

If my memory serves me right, the first time I am eligible to vote was during the 2004 elections, but I was not registered… I could have voted for FPJ but that’s another story. I never believed in elections I was young and immature… I just don’t care. But what made me change my mind…it was change itself. My parents are EDSA revolutionaries…my grandparents (father side was somehow connected in politics) that’s how I know how elections can be rigged and be bought. But now it’s different… different time’s calls for different measures… It got me thinking.

I am still young it’s not yet too late… why not, participate.

To answer my blog’s title… as of the moment I will vote for Benigno (Noynoy) C. Aquino, why let me enumerate…

1.       I’m tired of all the impeachment trials on TV.

2.       It’s a fresh start for everybody… choosing lesser evil doesn’t apply here. Noynoy like every one of us wanted to imitate our parents… Doctor’s breeds’ doctors and so does lawyers breed lawyers.

3.       Of all the candidates, aside from Chiz who haven’t announce his candidacy yet, is the only one who can lead by example.

4.       We need someone that we can trust and follow… not someone who is rich and famous that we can adore.

5.       I need a breath of fresh air.

Maybe my reasons are not enough to convince you to vote for him, but try to envision this… tell me any person who wish to discredit a hero like Cory and Ninoy by running for the highest position in our country… no one right, and if he will at least Kris will be at every impeachment trial and an exclusive at SNN and the buzz… better than Jolina hosting a show at IBC 13 or is it RPN 9 titled “Ang Pangulo”.

Call me showbiz but I’m a believer… beside I don’t think Chiz will rethink his ambition if he does not believe Noynoy can do it… Chiz is smarter than that.

And I will quote Chiz on this… he said in one of his interview. One ask him if his not running who would he think better win the presidency and he said Noynoy.

My decision is not based on the lesser evil but rather the second best to lead.
