Christmas 2012

This year, twas different... a lot different from our usual Christmas.

Christmas before is our day for friends... the only holiday my Mom let us spend with friends... whether we spend it at home at a party or at work... she usually doesn't mind... we all think she doesn't hehehe.

This year... we decided to spend it a bit early. Same day but not the traditional pinoy time... we had dinner since we all have to go to work. My sister who spends Christmas at her husbands family spent this years Christmas at home... My 3 other brothers who spends it with friends stayed at home as well... i dunno if it is the result of the "doomsday" scare but nonetheless we all wanted to spend time at home.

As we celebrate it with a simple meal, I began to wonder... all the unexpected things that happened this year... we were reminded that Christmas is not just for kids but for families... Christmas does not start at Dec 24 12 midnight... it starts at our hearts.

As we commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ, I decided to start another family tradition that I would be happy to pass along my "pamangkins" and soon to be "pamangkins"... a day... a Christmas day with families.
