Luxury is the child of hard work...
A Phrase i got from Boy Abunda...
I heard this when I was curious enough to check on his reaction about the current issues that surrounds him nowadays, I will not dwell on that issue but this phrase stuck in my mind...
I firmly believe this is true... a person cant afford luxurious things if he/she will not work for it... but let me simplify luxury this doesn't apply to well off personalities alone... For me Luxury means I can sleep in a comfy bed at night or at any part of the day... cook and eat the food I wanted to eat... practice the craft or spend time quietly alone in a place where no one can bother me.... or just by simply browsing the net.
All people works hard... I sometimes do... But I cant just afford a birkins bag at a snap of my hands... Some people dies of hard work oh well some movies or telenovelas shows us so... but what do they get from the fruit of their labor?
maybe if we can delete the standards or the norms of our society we can clearly define luxury on our own... A person who earns minimum wage will somehow have the luxury to afford a fast food meal everyday... but because we labeled things like fine dinning as luxurious this person somehow got the notion that hes not that lucky... what more can a person feels if he's just earning enough to buy him rice and a pack of noodles everyday... the luxury to eat and have enough was suddenly disregarded and was constituted as not luxurious at all.
I still believe that Luxury is a child of hard work but every parent needs a partner...
Hard work + right mind set = luxury
every person is lucky to have enough to have the luxury to own and do things others may not have... all they need to do is place themselves out of the situation and look at it in a different angle... I may not have the luxury to buy a mansion right now but I still feel luxurious to have my own room...
Let luxury be your motivation... but don't set or fall for the standards our society placed for us... break the norms let your standards stand on its own...
Luxury... I'm thankful that I have the luxury to share my views for you...
BREAK OUT and STAND OUT... there is no Standards aside from your own!!!
