Fried Chicken

I saw this recipe in one of Kris Aquino's show... I added my own style and I have been cooking this for the past 2 yrs...

June 3... My hon's Bday... I cooked this fried chicken and he liked it daw... haahahaaha

Ingredients:
Chicken
Oyster sauce
vinegar
calamansi
salt and pepper
bread crumbs... I use grated pandesal
garlic lots of lots of Garlic


Directions:
marinade the chicken in a mixture made of oyster sauce,vinegar (3 cups of oyster sauce is to 1 cup of vinegar ) add some crushed garlic, salt and pepper to taste and freshly squeezed calamansi.

after 30 minutes - the citrus from the calamansi will only last for 30 mins says kris after that the taste will be different - in a steamer steam the chicken in a mixture of calamansi and water or 15 minutes.

NOW WE'RE READY TO FRY!!!

make sure the oil is hot... I like it deep fried so make sure that the pan is deep enough to submerge the chicken. Before frying put some salt and pepper in a plastic bag add the bread crumbs ( a lot of bread crumbs so make sure that you have a big bag ) put all the chicken in the bag and shake it vigorously until the chicken is completely covered.

I don't use eggs because i don't want the chicken to be covered like the ones we see in the fast food joints. Once covered in bread crumbs put the chicken in.... Make sure you don't overcrowd the pot... the chicken will absorb the oils heat and will make the oil not suitable for frying just put around four to five pcs if you have big pan.

Since we added bread crumbs don't worry if you see some burnt parts that's the crumbs absorbing the heat of the oil making our chicken still edible... hahahahahahhahaha.

in a plate with tissue paper... put our fried chicken here so the paper can absorb excess oil.

And serve with love...
