500 peso divi challenge...

Twas just for fun... I challenged our friends to a 500 divisoria shopping spree to see who would buy the most stuff for 500 pesos... but the things that we should buy are the things that we can actually use... in short... hindi patapon lol.

Two of our friends accepted the challenge... and off we go.

Friend number one... went over board and bought things that she actually need but she exceeded the 500 pesos limit... ehhh disqualified

Friend number two... fiance of friend number one... (the winner) bought... the following pieces:

A tool for his car - 80.00
Three pairs of socks - 50.00
A magic mop - 100.00
Feng shui enchancer - 150.00
And a lot of small stuff that he can use for his car

Total - 500.00

And for me... siempre i have pics... being the first runner up and the author of this blog...

I bought the following:

An iphone note pad - 15.00

Girl toddler dress - 50.00

Teen pajama - 55.00

6 pairs of socks - 100.00

2 boxer shorts - 100.00

Phone bumper - 120.00

Total - 440 i didnt make it to 500 and my friend has more stuff than I... hence he was announced as the winner of the challenge.

overall experience... it was ok... weather cooperated since we checked out the "bangketa" to look for good finds... 500.00 pesos if you just buy what is needed is actually a big amount na... divisoria... the cheapest place on earth... and who says that you need to spend more just to have fun... right?

Conclusion... and suggestion, if you have more to spare and you can afford mall prices... i would say go for it... more comfy... but and this is a big but!!!... if you want to buy in bulk and wanted to save more on your allotted budget... I am not saying go to divi right away but you need to really use your mind and scout for the best price... which in most cases... you'll find at divisoria.

So next time... maybe ill think of a new challenge for the group... and of course blog about it.
