Estero at Binondo experience
Friends always tells me that i need to try the food at estero... judging by its name and location... i decided not to try it.
Last year... we passed through it again... and they encouraged me again... i looked at the place and decided to postpone it for awhile and we ate at mañosa instead...
Whats bugging me is that they serve frog legs there and since its located beside a manila estero... you cant help having second thoughts about it.
Last saturday... my friends decided to eat at binondo and i planned to bring them to our ussual place but we were lost... we walked for a full 30 mins under the sun... when we finally arrived at china town... estero is the nearest place that we could eat at... well not really the nearest place but since i heard good reviews its the safest and nearest place we could find.
Ok so we sat... we ordered... and we disregarded the smell... and we were amazed.

Seafood hot pot... this dish is sooo sarap. The seafoods are cooked just right... seafoods are soft and tender not over cooked... the veggies are crisp and it taste different from the pancit hahaha
The canton guisado... cucci's favorite... i also like this... cooked just the way i preffered it. Noodles are dry but there is a ceeamy sauce at the bottom... veggies are crispy and the meat soo tender. I even liked the liver that is a staple ingridient in a pancit canton
The spicy spareribs... not spicy enough for me...
We also ordered butter chicken but i forgot to take a pic. Well to describe it, looks like the spicy spareribs but taste like the normal buttered chicken ordered at your normal chinese restaurants.
Overall... its was a satisfying experience.... we stayed away from the frog legs for now but one day we will surely try it... but i dont think im quite ready for that yet...
Try it now... once inside china town just ask for it and youll surely find it.. .
