Tradition Kuno!!!

every year, coffee lovers battle their way to starbucks to get the planner that comes free if you buy a certain number of coffee base drinks. I'm not a coffee drinker but I'm one of those fools who love the starbucks planner... so I guess I am one of those who buys their coffee base drinks (well at least for dec only) lol

every year I look forward to their planner I love the 2007 and 2008 planner the most coz their big and you can personalized it like for example the 2008 planner you can add small plastic folders the one you can buy at any national bookstores and just insert it in the holes... or remove the 2007 planner notebook and use the leather case to hold your bills etc.

I was kinda disappointed when I saw the 2009 planner its simple like the 2006 planner the difference there is the 2006 planner has some giveaways like free coffee if you claim it on a certain date. the 2009 is just plain simple comes in three diff colors, just like any ordinary planner nothing unusual but I noticed that a lot of people are still collecting stickers for it... hence the title of the blog... somehow starbucks created a tradition.

I had mine two days ago, its my simple tradition to have my planner the cheapest way possible. as I have said I am not a coffee drinker and I need 8 special holiday coffee base drinks to complete the set so I need to rely on friends who drink coffee and does nt want the planner, oh boy that was hard hahahahahaha.last year I took advantage of starbucks buy one drink get two stickers promo and it really helps last year I have to device some team contest that concerns starbucks so I could get my free stickers lol. but this year I started early my coffee buddy Poppie (just for this time of the year) contributes 3 stickers Arn and Malou gave me 2 and I volunteered to buy coffee in one of our meetings (outside work) so I could get 8 more free stickers... lol. I even asked Ayen to treat me just to get one sticker from her...


My only problem here is the special drinks... I love peppermint frap but they don't have it this year my second fav is the toffee nut frap and I guess I have to stick to that...






The planner comes with a pen unlike last year's pencil so I believe its a good buy na rin... it comes with a good box and the pages seems strong to endure 300++ days of writing. although I'm a bit disappointed with 2009 planner I still like it. somebody asked me what will i do with an expensive planner that looks cheap... I simply smiled and said the things I have to do to get it is already worth it, I got a chance to talk to friends over coffee catch up (gee-jay a friend of mine who I didn't see for almost 2 years gave me 2 stickers)  and the idea of putting my first entry for 2009 its all worth it.


My first entry will be a special day for me... and I'm glad that I penciled it in on my planner that is already full of memories... that makes my planner more special to me.

Just a note: I save the two last stickers for me and Cucci that makes the planner extra special I got it with my special someone!!!



I'm a certified Planner addict, even before I used to have 3 diff planners and all of them were used I wrote blogs,poems, and small stuffs that happened to me during that year... right now I think I will have to stick to one... the planner that held my special year... 2009

Again, thank you Poppie,Arn,Malou,Kerv,Gee-jay,ayen and Hon... Tosh I still owe you one coffee dont worry... I want the blue one din for Cucci lol so 16 stickers more.
