Project Pie

Project pie... this place got a lot of buzz for the last couple of months... I waited for the buzz to die down... the lines to get shorter and for a branch to open near us.

Makati... park square branch opened and I still waited for a few weeks to try it out.

Now that everyone got to try it out we visited last Monday...

No lines... but the place was almost full on a Monday afternoon... so we started on the first step. I told the server its our first time and he patiently explained to us the mechanics. I can create my very own pizza or start from the pizza flavors that they have and add more.

We picked number two... red sauce based pizza and we added more mozzarella and Parmesan cheese. A dazzle of prosciutto... mushrooms and caramelized onions for our first try.

It was good better than the other pizza actually.

Overall experience... if you're looking for something special sorry folks not this place... its better than the others I guarantee but nothing special to offer like the best cheese or whatever.

The ambiance... I love it comfy chairs and we sat on a high chair... clean place... very modern... very "kano" I said. The servers are sosyal haha very Starbucks... and I think the soda's are bottomless hehe

What will I try next... white base pizza. Thats in olive oil all their kinds of cheeses... bacon and Canadian bacon... mushroom... tomatoes... onions and caramelized onions... more mushroom and to close it off another round of cheese.

Well will I go back right away... no im not a pizza fan but if i crave for one this will be on the top of my list... and the timing is so right... by the end of next year our office will be nearer to this branch as in walking distance nearer hahaha...
