Before I start, I wanted to discuss why I didn’t choose the other candidates.

Acosta – I don’t know the person

Delos Reyes – even if I admire the person for having the guts to run and being the only “non trapo” candidate. I don’t know if he is capable of running the country.

Villanueva – I honestly believe that Religion and politics don’t mix

Perlas – I don’t know the person

Madrigal – Although we have the same goal. I wouldn’t consider her as my president

Now for my Goal:

THE GOAL here is to at least try to eliminate “TRAPO” candidates and preventing the current government to stay in power. I believe that even before Edsa 2 this plan has been brewing already. From the day when Gloria decided to run as Vice President in order for Erap to win until today where there are rumors of a major failure of elections. Everything is planned very well planned.

I am not looking for a conspiracy nor a major political drama, everyone has plans right even the poorest Filipino has plans of becoming rich, but the “plan” I fear the most is already in front of our noses… from the “Hello Garci Scandal”, Fertilizer Scam and all the other cases surrounding the government, a person could only dream of change.

These changes that I dreamt of… personally – I believe can be found in the 3 candidates that I have chosen. I have chosen these three because I honestly believe that they are the real opposition. I am hoping for changes not something that will continue the things that we already have.

Now If that is my goal… I think your question is why didn’t I choose Gibo or Villar?

Let me start with Villar, I have a hunch that Villar is GMA’s main puppet. If Cory Aquino didn’t die and Noynoy didn’t run Villar will surely win. I will even vote for him. Assuming that things that happened didn’t happen, GMA will proclaim Gibo as her candidate and support Villar. With her current rating she needs someone who is not associated with her that she can control because she would definitely win in the congressional race. Her goal is to stay in power whether she is upfront running or controlling the show backstage either way that’s what she wants.

For Gibo, if Villar is GMA’s main puppet Gibo is GMA’s main dummy. He is the standard bearer of GMA chosen because of his credentials but hoping that he wouldn’t win being endorsed by the current president. If he runs for president under a different party he would definitely win if he will run against Villar (assuming that Cory didn’t Die) If gibo will run as the opposition by now we will surely be fed up with Villar’s infomercial and vote for Gibo.

Now going back to my goal, I want a president who is not controlled by the current government so I choose Noynoy. Why? Believe it or not I will choose Gordon over Noynoy but I want to be realistic, for me there is only 3 opposition party fighting against 2 government dummies… let’s say we have 1000 Filipinos and 80% are against the current government so 20% will be voting for Gibo right and some of the 20% will be voting secretly for Villar lets assume and give Villar 5% from Gibo’s 20%  so Gibo will have 15% and Villar 5%. With 9 candidates the remaining 80% will be divided into 9 candidates including Villar since he’s running secretly as an opposition. Lets divide the remaining 80% into 9 candidates that’s roughly 8.88% for each. So Gibo will have 15% Villar will have 13% and the rest will have 8.88% each. Dividing the opposition is one way of making sure that the government will have the lead in the race.

Assuming that Villar will pretend to be an opposition candidate out of the 80% opposition there is a big chance that Villar can get more votes. My goal is to give my vote to someone who has a greater chance of beating the opposition. This is where my three choices steps in.

Gordon, good fight but not enough to win. Estrada the choice of the poor but with his track record I doubt it… If Chiz runs and Roxas didn’t step down I will surely pick one… but Cory died and Noynoy decided to run. I am voting for the opposition as a whole that’s why I decided to vote for Noynoy.
