Since I'm writing in the my critic's corner... I will say a few kind words about his work and then we will go straight to the point... Joking dude.
I have known Melle for more than a year now and I know that he likes taking picture but I was amazed of what he can do with a picture that he had taken...
You can definitely feel the photographer's feeling by just looking at his artwork's... So passionate with his craft and so eager to learn a few more tricks to improve it... Melle is one of my co-Tm's at the office and I never thought that he will be like this... the quiet man I used to know can now expressed what he feels through his lenses. 4 stars to you Melle...
About his work...
I am not an artist (just a disclaimer) and i don't know anything about art... maybe a few, but I can really say that I am not an expert. when i have a camera at hand I just click and click and view it browse through it and then I'm done. With Melle's pictures you can really say that the focus point is embossed with life and color... I can almost feel the passion every time he pressed on his shutter ( if that is what it's called)... you can see that every frame was well thought off... very well executed and the primary focus is not lost in the picture...
The close ups are great... especially my picture... hehehehehe the scenery was absolutely fantastic, HOWEVER... oh my god... may however... Joke.
before I write about my however's I wanted to point out that I am a fan of ANTM and what I'm looking for in a picture or in a photographer is the sharpness of an image... I am a fan of SEPIA and that is the reason why i liked Melle's shot.....
Moving along, However although the subjects are great and the shots are wonderful Melle sometimes overused photo shop in improving his shots like the one where he is under the tree I cant even determine if that is a real tree at all... the church pictures are almost perfect aside from one shot... I love this shot however it doesn't look real anymore it looks like a painting.. a perfect painting already. I would definitely buy that picture but I will have a hard time convincing people its not a painting.
Well I guess that's it... I want to see more of Melle next time... I want to see more feelings I wanted to see more colors... Melle certainly got the talent and the Vision... and all he needs to do is capture it on CAMERA.
