2012 ( Film )

2012 was a movie that most of us got scared and goggled it the minute we saw the trailer…. And true enough It was a movie worth watching for. Storyline is original and exiting although the plot was derived from a myth (or I want to believe it is).

Let me start with the actors, John Cusack was perfect for the role… a serious face with a little touch of humor…perfect for a disaster movie. Amanda Peet was also great, you could see the emotions through her eyes and I love it. The two kids was also great and the scenes were equally divided to two parts… the driving scenes and the flying scenes, and of course the driving scenes were given to the lead role (John). Chiwetel Ejiofor the British actor whom I thought to be Indian was so great in his scenes that you will be moved every time he speaks. Woody Harrelson who plays a small part was also effective in portraying his role – although personally woody shouldn’t accept small parts like that I think I saw him in another movie playing a crazy bum thingy like in the movie. Overall the cast were spectacular perfect in every way. For me the role I wanted to live at the end of the movie was “Tamara” the Russian girlfriend of a billionaire… too bad few minutes before he movie ends she drowned.

Moving forward, lemme talk about the scenes… although a bit exaggerated like all disaster movies this one was not that obvious…the scenes looks like realistic in a scary way. Being a fanatic of disaster movies I especially like the visual effects that were tied up in the story. The timeline was also realistic too no dull moments and it captivated my scary ass brains from start to end.

Now for the worst part my could’ve been’s… first, although I mentioned it earlier Tamara’s character shouldn’t die at he end she belong with her dog. Second, maybe John was a good driver tto risk driving into falling buildings but with his family inside…too scary for me but it works for the movie. Woody Harrelson should’ve seen the arks as a confirmation of his theories… and then he die maybe by saving someone else’s life could’ve been noble. Third It could have been more exciting to see terror in everyone’s face if they know what’s happening o the world.

Now as you can see all my could’ve beens are just nuisance and just some simple request of mine, hats how I love the film…simply an eye opener and captivating.

Now the most important part of the film is its ability to convey its most special message… humanity, the love for every living thing. Although the love was shown in to two different things, the negative and the positive side of it… it still gives us hope to spread the word around… love. The greatest love story unfortunately told through the eyes of a tragedy. the survival of the fittest the survival of human race and the ever changing phases of the only planet that we could live in…truly a master piece.

I know that this is a movie review but it never hurts to convey one last message… a message of change and hope… a message for our leaders to make use of their skills and intelligence to good… to think of others and to love the only family hat we have…The human race.
